How Do You CLASSICO?

I know it has been awhile since I have updated my blog but I just want you all to know that all is well.  I pray that you all Have been doing well and are BLESSED!

 

Well as always, I am here to tell you all about my recent treat that I received absolutely free to test and review from Influenster.  This month I was chosen to review Classico's Organic Tamato & Bail Pasta Sauce. 

At first I was a little skeptical because I am a huge fan of Prego pasta sauce and because when I think of organic, I think of bland, tasteless, health food.  Well to my surprise, Classico's Organic Tomato & Basil pasta sauce nowhere close to being bland.  This is a simple yet very tasty pasta sauce.  I was amazed how such a simple pasta sauce could be full of so much flavor.  You can taste the freshness of the ripe tomatoes and it has the right amount of Basil added to it to not make it overpowering.

This sauce complemented each dish I used it in.  One night my kids requested that I make meatball subs so I figured this would be the perfect time to test out the sauce.  I didn't let the kids know that I would be using a new sauce because I wanted to see if they would notice a difference in the taste.

Well, dinner was a hit and the kids loved the meatball subs.  I asked them if they noticed a difference in the taste of the sauce and only my oldest daughter noticed a difference. She  doesn't like chunky pasta sauces and she said that the sauce was smooth and not full of chunks of tomatoes.  She said that I could buy this sauce from now on.

The following night, it was time to test it out on my husband.  He already know that it was Classico's Organic sauce but he didn't know what it tasted like.  Now, like me, my husband is a huge fan of Prego Meat Flavored Pasta Sauce.  He can't stand any other pasta sauces so I knew this would be a true test.

I made him a nice bowtie pasta with some of the meatballs that were slow cooked in the Classico Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce, a nice light side salad and a piece of toasted French bread.  I watched him closely as he ate.  He tried to find something wrong with the sauce but he couldn't.  He was please with the taste and he even said that we could start adding it to our shopping list. 

 

Classico's Organic Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce passed the taste test of the picky eaters of my house.  I will definitely be adding this pasta sauce to my shopping list and making more yummy meals.  Next up, HOMEMADE PIZZA!!!
